Getting Here

The ceremony and reception will be held at Piney River Ranch, just north of Vail, Colorado.

Driving

Vail is the closest town to the ranch, and is easily accessible via I-70, the main east-west interstate that runs through Colorado. There are three exits for the town of Vail, and the main exit 176 has access to the north frontage road that leads to the road to Piney. Click here for directions to Piney River Ranch from Vail, and remember to give yourself at least 1 hour to reach the ranch from the main Vail exit. Vail is just under two hours from Denver by car, and approximately 16 hours by car from Madison, WI.

Flying

There are a number of options for travelers looking to fly to Colorado.

The largest airport in Colorado is Denver International Airport, (DIA) and they usually have the cheapest flight options due to the large volume of daily flights. DIA is just under 2 hours from Vail, so you will need to rent a car or take a shuttle from the airport to get here. Recommended airlines from Milwaukee are Frontier and AirTran who usually have the best deals to Denver. If you are flying in from a low altitude area and don't know how high altitude may affect you, we do recommend staying a night in Denver to acclimatize before coming up to the mountains.

• Colorado Mountain Express (shuttle from DIA to Vail): www.ColoradoMountainExpress.com

Much more convenient than DIA is the Eagle County/Vail airport (EGE). EGE is located between the towns of Eagle and Gypsum, Colorado and is about 30 minutes from Vail. It is a small airport, but serviced by many of the large carriers. In the summer, they have direct flights from Dallas, Miami and Denver, with most routes being one-stop through one of these hubs (usually a short layover in Denver). EGE is serviced by United, American, Delta and Continental. Flights to EGE are usually slightly pricier than to DIA as there are fewer flight options, but some great deals can be found (the airport website often has the best deals in its "book a flight" on the homepage). Because of its small size, the security lines are usually much shorter than DIA and overall airport experience is better.

There are also airports in Grand Junction, Aspen and Yampa Valley/Steamboat Springs (all around 2 hours from Vail).
